Senior Underwriter

Under the direction of the Regional Manager, execute Construction business unit strategy for the New York & Pacific Regions. Product line responsibilities include Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Liability.

• Solicit new and renewal submissions from key brokers
• Execute regional marketing and sales strategies
• Interact collaboratively with the Construction team
• Determine appropriate pricing, terms, and conditions
• Oversee the business unit’s more complex files and portfolios

• Knowledge of construction insurance industry
• Knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong product knowledge, including exposure analysis, forms and coverages, and rating principals and mechanics
