Special Education Teacher

A Middle School Special Education Co-Teacher position is available from November through February. This contract role is designed for educators with experience in special education who are passionate about supporting diverse learners in a dynamic school setting.

• Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver tailored instructional strategies
• Provide accommodations to students with special needs
• Assist with classroom management
• Track student progress
• Participate in team meetings to ensure student success

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working in a middle school educational environment
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and implementation
• Ability to co-teach and collaborate effectively with other educators
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to creating inclusive learning experiences
