About the role

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a K-12 school setting in Wildorado, TX, to cover a maternity leave contract from December 1 through the second week of March (dates flexible).

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across all K-12 grade levels.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and educational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to support students' communication development.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required documentation.
  • Deliver therapy through traditional in-person sessions along with teletherapy as needed.

Requirements

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy delivery for speech and language services.
  • Strong understanding of school-based speech-language service requirements and educational standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
