About the role
We are seeking a hard-working project manager to join the Product Integrity Engineering Services (ES) team. The project manager will be a key member of a global team responsible for leading strategic third-party services initiatives including planning, operations, compliance and finances.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineering managers with requirements and vendor engagement
- Review statements of work and quotations
- Drive vendor selection, calibration and onboarding
- Partner with procurement on contracts and negotiations
- Coordinate engineering services operations, documentation and tracking
- Coordinate critical sourcing metrics, vendor quality of service and relationships
- Track and report financial forecasts and actual payments
- Champion standard methodologies and ensure compliance
- Implement process improvements and tools
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in engineering or technical field
- At least 5 years or more experience with contingent workforce, resource planning and vendor management
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to influence, negotiate and contribute to key strategic decisions
- Attention to detail, data accuracy and quality of output
- Outstanding flexibility in managing shifting priorities
- Experience with outsourcing, offshore development centers (ODCs) and statements of work (SOW)
- Experience with budgeting and spend analysis
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) with outstanding presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Keynote skills
- Knowledge of database usage, survey tools and SOP documentation
