Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Dekalb, Illinois

Provide nursing care to patients on the 8th floor medical-surgical unit specializing in orthopedic cases. Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and assist with rehabilitation protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations.

• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, specifically with orthopedic patients.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
