Senior Workers Compensation Examiner- Federal Claims

Join us as a Senior Claims Adjuster to grow your experience in handling Federal Workers Compensation claims.

• Focused on Workers Compensation within the Federal jurisdiction
• Proactive, best practice approach
• Identify and review suspect/fraudulent claims
• Regular contact with internal stakeholders and brokers
• Act as a point of referral
• Provide support to Team Managers and deputize in their absence
• Monitor market/industry practices in claims handling
• Collaborate with colleagues in underwriting to improve products

• Knowledge of legal / regulatory and litigation / procedural requirements for Federal Workers Compensation claims
• Specialist knowledge of Defense Base Act claims is preferred
• Experience in settlement evaluation and negotiation
• Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation
• Lateral thinking and the ability to problem solve and develop new ideas to improve working practices
• Strong communication, time management, administrative and report-writing skills
