Data Engineer, Operations Digital and Decision Science
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data engineering solutions by leveraging emerging technologies to efficiently locate, extract, and transform data from diverse sources for reporting, analysis, and statistical modeling—driving continuous business improvement.
- Execute unit tests and validate outcomes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and applications through comprehensive data validation, in-depth analysis, and precise coding practices.
- Apply Agile methodologies to effectively manage projects, utilizing Generative AI tools to craft high-quality user stories and features that align with business objectives and enhance team productivity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to assess data requirements and communicate key insights through meaningful, visually compelling representations.
- Promote a safety-conscious work environment that prioritizes employee well-being and operational safety.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, ETL processes, data modeling, and proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C++, C#, Scala, or a similar language.
- 2+ years of professional experience in information technology, specializing in software development.
- 2+ years of experience in roles primarily focused on working with data, including positions such as data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, or similar.
