About the role
The role of a Business Development Manager for the Northern UK territory is to develop new business and maintain existing business accounts within the automotive finishes side of our business.
Responsibilities
- Accountable to develop new Bodyshop end user business within the Northern territory
- Sales of up to £6,000,000, measured by growth within targeted new accounts
- Introduction of new products and services to be offered to distribution and bodyshop accounts
- Manages the execution of multiple sales and related business strategies
- Accountable for the provision of competitor analysis and business development ideas linked to the overall business strategy
Requirements
- Strong B2B sales experience, ideally in automotive refinishes
- Knowledge of Bodyshop operations and distribution channels
- Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills
- Competitor analysis and strategic planning capabilities
- Familiarity with Sherwin-Williams brands is a plus
