About the role

The role of a Business Development Manager for the Northern UK territory is to develop new business and maintain existing business accounts within the automotive finishes side of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable to develop new Bodyshop end user business within the Northern territory
  • Sales of up to £6,000,000, measured by growth within targeted new accounts
  • Introduction of new products and services to be offered to distribution and bodyshop accounts
  • Manages the execution of multiple sales and related business strategies
  • Accountable for the provision of competitor analysis and business development ideas linked to the overall business strategy

Requirements

  • Strong B2B sales experience, ideally in automotive refinishes
  • Knowledge of Bodyshop operations and distribution channels
  • Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills
  • Competitor analysis and strategic planning capabilities
  • Familiarity with Sherwin-Williams brands is a plus
