Located in Davenport, FL., which is close to major destinations, like Busch Gardens, Legoland, and Walt Disney World, without being located in the central hub of tourism. The role you'll contribute: Responsible for providing close surveillance of EKG monitors and communicating rhythm status to nurses. This position ensures accurate monitoring and timely reporting of any changes in patient rhythms. This role adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting body standards. In addition, this position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service. Additionally, this role maintains respectful relationships with all individuals. Responsibilities for this role include monitoring EKGs, reporting rhythm changes, adhering to regulations, providing customer service, and maintaining respectful relationships. The value you'll bring to the team: Documents in accordance with department policy and maintain telemetry logbook. Observes monitors, recognizing and documenting normal and abnormal EKG patterns, and promptly notify nursing staff of any abnormalities. Mains monitor alarms per policy, verifies that alarms are set and audible every shift, and troubleshoots monitors as needed. Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities, demonstrating accurate documentation and monitoring of activities, and supporting departmental quality standards and initiatives. Follows Center for Disease Control's isolation guidelines, demonstrate appropriate use of personal protective equipment, perform handwashing according to policy, and enforce safety regulations. Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrade skills, performing other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department or unit. Provides patient care in relation to the age and needs of the customer/patient. Mains telemetry printout during cardiac arrest and as indicated. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: High School Grad or Equiv 1 Work Experience Monitor technician experience or successful completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training program or equivalent. Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Grad or Equiv
