High School ELA Teacher | Lancaster, NY Area | 34 Hours Per Week

Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and qualified High School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join a school district in Lancaster, NY Area. This is a full-time, onsite position serving students in grades 9 through 12. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting student learning and growth through engaging and standards-based instruction.

• Deliver daily ELA instruction to high school students in grades 9–12
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with NYS learning standards
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Attend school meetings, professional development, and required trainings

• Must hold a valid New York State (NYS) teaching certification in English Language Arts for grades 7–12
• Previous high school teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
