About the role
A K-12 school in Prattville, AL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to students throughout the academic school year.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
Requirements
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings
- Knowledge of K-12 educational programs and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
