OR Nurse Per Diem Experienced

Ensures safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing operative procedures. Renders nursing care within the surgical suite. Circulates or scrubs on all surgical procedures. Responsible for pre-surgical assessment of the patient, the intra-operative process, and the post procedure discharge.

• Ensures safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing operative procedures.

• Responsible for pre-surgical assessment of the patient, the intra-operative process, and the post procedure discharge.

• At least one year experience in the Operating Room, scrub and circulating required
• Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required
• ASN or Nursing Diploma, required
• Completion of a post-graduate course in the Operating Room required
• Current and active CA RN license
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
