About the role

Responsible for coordinating the efforts of the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive care for patients. This position administers, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates the nursing process to maintain and improve patient outcomes. Additionally, this role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, established policies, protocols, and procedures. In addition, this position collaborates with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and utilizes pertinent references as guidelines for clinical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the efforts of the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Administers, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates the nursing process to maintain and improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, established policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and utilizes pertinent references as guidelines for clinical practice.
  • Supervises and teaches other personnel, administers medications and treatments, and critically evaluates evidence for application to clinical practice.

Requirements

  • Associate's of Nursing Required
  • Bachelor's of Nursing Preferred
  • One or more years of Nursing Work Experience Required - ER Nursing Experience Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Preferred
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) Required
  • Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License Required
