About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Sherman, CT. In this role, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students in a supportive, collaborative school environment. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to help each student reach their communication and academic goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy sessions and track student progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Connecticut SLP license and CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required or in process.
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
