The role you'll contribute: Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. The value you'll bring to the team: Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by a Registered Nurse. Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members. Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals. Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Required qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required within 1 year of hire State registered CNA Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association Preferred qualifications: Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program Six months previous CNA experience Previous customer service experience Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Program (CPI)
