Position: Special Education Teacher Hours: 37.5hr/week Location: Position is near Columbia Heights, Oregon School Year: 2025/2026 Pay Range: Contractors are compensated weekly at an hourly rate, with pay ranges determined by state, location, and experience/education. Hourly compensation for our Special Education Teachers ranges from $30 to $50 an hour. Responsibilities: Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in a resource/functional life skills classroom Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for each student Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure effective support for students Track and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration about student progress Qualifications: Valid Oregon Special Education certification Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Reliable Transportation Benefits: Competitive weekly pay Medical, Dental, and Vision plans available 401K matching employer To be considered for this position please apply directly, and send your updated resume to Carmen.Pettiford@soliant.com.
