About the role
This position has administrative responsibility for designated practices yet collaborates within an integrated healthcare delivery system. Customers include, but are not limited to regional leadership, physicians, providers, practice management, and staff. External customers include patients, and their caretakers, regulatory bodies, vendors, and the community. This position also develops plans to identify and reach short and long-term goals and assure development and compliance with operating and capital budgets and achievements of financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Manages daily operations and overall performance of the practice to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates office and clinical staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Develops and implements action plans to improve practice performance in areas such as employee turnover, patient access, and financial outcomes.
- Oversees budgeting and financial analysis, providing input for future budgets and financial needs.
- Monitors patient flow and ensures appropriate utilization of provider time and staff coverage.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and AHCA.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equivalent
- Active American Heart Association BLS
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 3 years of supervisory experience in a physician practice, Patient care experience in a physician practice, Billing and coding experience in a physician practice, Certified by Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
