Casualty Jr. Underwriter

This role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of our Casualty/Liabilities department

• Assess the desirability of risk through regular contact with brokers
• Close coordination with AIG subject matter experts and robust reviews of claims history and general company information
• Provide excellent service to brokers through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach to underwriting
• Generate new business by expanding broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market

• Some Underwriting experience in Casualty is preferred
• Law or Business Administration degree preferred
• Fluent English skills (written & spoken)
• Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Customer and Sales orientated behaviours: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable
