This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school settings to work with K-12 students in Palm Desert, CA. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and involves delivering comprehensive speech and language services within an educational environment, focusing on evaluation, therapy, and collaboration.

• Conduct thorough evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
• Provide targeted therapy sessions aimed at meeting specific speech and language goals
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive and coordinated care
• Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process to support student success

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California, with active approval from the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly preferred
