Patient Registration Coordinator - AdventHealth Centra Care All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: Benefits from Day One Paid Days Off from Day One Career Development Whole Person Wellbeing Resources Mental Health Resources and Support Schedule: Full-Time Shift Two week rotating schedule, M-F three (3) days on, two (2) off with working hours being 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, and rotating weekends required with Sat. & Sun. hours being 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Location: 3708 SW COLLEGE RD, Ocala, 34474 The role you'll contribute: Under supervision of the Practice Manager, the Patient Registration Coordinator is accountable for the patient's first impression of the organization by making patients feel safe, cared for and respected with an emphasis on customer service. They are responsible for the complete patient registration process. The value you'll bring to the team: Participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Prepares, processes, and files the medical record for each patient as required by patient type for documentation by physician and medical personnel. Demonstrates through behavior core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork. Drives customer service initiatives by creating and owning the patient experience. Answers telephone, responds to patient questions/concerns to ensure prompt accurate resolution is achieved and is able to handle various job tasks simultaneously. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalency Preferred qualifications: Previous customer service experience Prior pediatric experience (for Kids Urgent Care Centers) Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
