Special Ed Teacher

A school district in Mesquite, TX is seeking two dedicated Elementary Special Education Teachers to provide exceptional educational support for students with diverse learning needs.

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Delivering specialized instruction to enhance student learning and life skills development
• Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive educational experience
• Monitoring and documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Creating a positive, supportive classroom environment that fosters student growth and independence

• Must hold an active Texas Special Education EC-12 teaching license
• Proven experience in Special Education, preferably working with elementary-aged students
• Ability to commit to a full school year contract (ASAP to 5/22/2026)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team

• Competitive weekly pay ranging from $38 to $47+ per hour, based on education and experience
