PACU Registered Nurse in Aurora, CO

A healthcare facility in Aurora, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse with Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience for a contract position. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is proficient in post-operative patient care, monitoring recovery, and managing any complications to ensure patient safety and comfort following anesthesia.

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, assessing vital signs and consciousness levels
• Administer medications and provide interventions as needed based on patient assessments
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and communicate changes promptly to the medical team
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for post-surgical patients

• Valid RN license with current certification in PACU nursing
• Proven experience in post-anesthesia care or related critical care
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment
