Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Hayward, CA

An opportunity is available for a skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN-MS) to provide exemplary nursing care on a day shift schedule at a well-established medical center in Hayward, CA.

• Serve as the primary nurse managing comprehensive patient care from admission through discharge, ensuring safety, comfort, and disease management
• Provide competent, compassionate care adhering to institutional policies and nursing standards
• Prioritize and coordinate care delivery in routine and complex situations, acting as a liaison between nursing and medical staff
• Carry out emergency interventions calmly and competently when necessary
• Conduct timely assessments, develop individualized care plans, and reassess care effectiveness continually
• Maintain clear communication with multidisciplinary teams and patients’ families to support optimal care outcomes
• Administer treatments and medications while adhering to standards of care and patient safety

• Current valid California RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
