Pharmacy Tech Supervisor

The Pharmacy Tech Supervisor may have direct reports and holds primary responsibility for overseeing the pharmacy automation systems, technician scheduling, technician PDO/sick coverage, and technician assignments.

• Oversees the pharmacy automation systems, technician scheduling, technician PDO/sick coverage, and technician assignments
• Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage as listed on patient orders
• Supports pharmacists in providing distributive pharmacy services
• Supervises the daily activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and accurate medication services

• High School Grad or Equivalent Required
• 3 years of Contemporary hospital pharmacy experience
• Applicable State Pharmacy Technician Registration (RPT)
• Current certification from Nationally recognized Board/Association
