About the role
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the facility and hospital departments. They perform clerical and reception duties such as answering phones, filing, and copying, and they may also assist in scheduling appointments and meetings, maintaining records, and compiling reports.
Responsibilities
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
- Preparing communications, such as memos, emails, and reports
- Filing and retrieving organizational documents, records, and reports
- Greeting visitors and determining whether they should be given access to specific individuals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year administrative support experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately
- Professional demeanor and appearance
