About the role

Teachers will be working in a moderate to severe needs classroom working with affective needs (behavioral disabilities). Will be high school with roughly 20 students in class.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to provide inclusive learning opportunities.
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing communication and support to students and families.

Requirements

  • Valid Colorado CDE teaching license in Special Education (required).
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
