About the role
Within CO+I, Datacenter Construction Delivery (DCD) is responsible for delivering datacenter capacity for Microsoft’s cloud business meeting all safety, quality, sustainability, schedule, and budget requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manages team's deployment of large-scale, campus, and/or regionally-based delivery solutions
- Analyzes and recommends delivery options from a technical standpoint
- Orchestrates work with internal and external partners to resolve complex issues
- Reviews and provides feedback to the team and regional management
- Manages the day-to-day coordination for meetings and activities with vendors
- Facilitates collaboration with other internal teams
- Reviews safe worksite(s) by adhering to organizational, industry procedures, and global safety policies
- Establishes, reviews, and communicates risk mitigation goals and develops metrics, dashboards, and/or scorecards to drive progress
- Leads the day-to-day management of vendors
- Drives employee growth and development, executes projects, and manages performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience
- 4+ years people management experience
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
