Broker Services Customer Service Representative Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve policy and endorsement related production issues.
  • Provide brokers web site access and navigational support.
  • Answer Billing and Collections inquiries from brokers.
  • Provide brokers with general product information.
  • Additional special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service or support roles, preferably within a multi-channel environment.
  • Strong understanding of web-based systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot system issues independently and escalate appropriately.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations, identify problems, and implement solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Dependable and proactive, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Must have the ability to resolve conflict and customer complaints, as well as communicate directly with customers in a professional manner.
