Community Corrections Supervisor (WMS02) - INTERNAL - Spokane Gang Unit

This is an INTERNAL recruitment open to current, permanent WA State Dept of Corrections (DOC) employees only. The Community Corrections Supervisor is an integral part of the Community Corrections Division management team.

• Supervise and manage staff, facilities, and work performed in assigned units.
• Implement, direct, and evaluate statewide programs/policies, such as supervised individual (S/I) reentry, risk management, S/I programs, and community involvement.
• Promote and uphold S/I standards and practices of the agency.
• Completion of other administrative/managerial tasks.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or foreign equivalent.
• Five years of experience in the community corrections or related field.
• Two years of supervisory or lead experience, which can be gained concurrently with the required experience.
