Teacher of the Visually Impaired

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired to support students caseload for the current school year. Will be providing services to students with visual deficiencies.

• Teach Braille and use Braille technology
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
• Provide ongoing communication and support to students and families
• Complete and write an FVE-LMA evaluation in its entirety

• Valid Texas Special Education license with endorsements for Teacher of the Visually Impaired license (required)
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
