Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, sales, and customer engagement across our pharmacy banners
  • Lead and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Support individual pharmacy locations with tailored marketing strategies and tools that cater to their unique customer bases and local market conditions
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and online advertising to enhance online presence and customer engagement
  • Manage and maintain the brand identity of the pharmacy banners, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communications
  • Develop and execute omnichannel marketing strategies that integrate traditional and digital marketing efforts
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences and needs, and the competitive landscape, using insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve marketing goals
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and Banner General Managers to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall business objectives
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve desired outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of marketing experience
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the retail or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and omnichannel strategies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proven experience in people leadership, including managing and developing teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, and driving team performance to achieve business goals
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing ROI
  • Fluency in both English and French preferred
