Vice President, Salesperson - Citibank Malaysia

Vice President, Salesperson – Citibank Malaysia. This front-office role is based on a dynamic and fast-paced trading floor at Citibank Berhad, with a specific focus on rates / financing products.

• Develop the Citi Rates franchise with specific client base
• Refine and implement a sales and marketing strategy
• Work with management and colleagues to establish a clear marketing plan
• Ability to leverage existing contacts network
• On-boarding and prospecting key clients
• Cross sell with multi asset class
• Assist other team members in strategic positioning
• Improved footprint with the client base
• Thorough product and clients knowledge
• Forge a trusted relationship with other salespeople
• Developing expertise in relevant market drivers
• Building trust-based relationships with clients
• Work in close partnership with control functions
• Build a culture of responsible finance
• Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions
• Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct

• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Prior Sales experience at a financial services organization
• Broad client relationships preferred
• Experience in a client facing role working with the buy-side community
• Self-Motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Advanced problem solving skills
• PKMC/PPKM license holder
• Strong entrepreneurial drive with excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Proven expertise in market and product terminology
• Ability to excel under competitive pressures
• Strong communication skills
• Comfort in engaging with business clients and senior management
• Self-motivated, independent, and proactive in approach
