Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)

• Deliver coursework designed to meet the academic and social needs of Deaf / Hard of Hearing students
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
• Work closely with families to ensure effective communication and support
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation processes
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations

• Certified Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing with experience in K-12 education
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies tailored for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication skills, incorporating sign language and other assistive technologies as needed
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, audiologists, and classroom teachers
