Special Ed Teacher

A contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher at an elementary school in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on delivering specialized instructional support to students with diverse learning needs within an inclusive educational setting throughout the current school year (CSY).

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with special education regulations.
• Employ evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions to support academic and social development.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and contribute to a positive school culture.

• Valid teaching certification in special education.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and special education laws.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and manage a diverse classroom.
