About the role
An Elder Associate who excels at this role: Perform basic patient care skills under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrate safe practices with caring for patients. Provides general nursing care such as position the patient, lifting, turning, applying/utilizing special equipment, assisting in the use of bed pan, urinal or commode, ambulating the patient, bed bath, oral and hair care, changing bed linens, cleaning and straightening patient room and other general care necessary.

Requirements
- Current state of Michigan certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Successful Completion of Nurse Aide Training Program Required
- BLS Certification Required
- Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required
