Billing Specialist

The Billing Specialist is responsible for the monthly invoicing process for several smaller start-up companies that includes generating invoices, reconciling accounts, and resolving billing discrepancies.

• Processes monthly invoices including completing calculations, creating invoices and other steps related to the invoicing process
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Process payments and refunds
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Communicates with external customers regarding billing discrepancies or inquiries
• Assists with issue resolution research as needed
• Provides ad-hoc reporting

• High School Graduate or equivalent required
• 2+ years’ relevant experience required
• Previous locums experience preferred
