About the role
EMEA Claims Operations Project Manager - Chubb External Careers
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and up to date reporting around efficiency gains and task allocation agreements with local clusters/countries, and claim savings resulting from the transformational Change Management.
- Determine if further discovery investigations are needed and assist with the development of solution design plans for those claims
- Project Management of significant EMEA Claims Transformation Projects / digital Initiatives across EMEA
- Build sustainable Claims Process Solutions in cooperation with all senior leaders
- Maintain effective communication to senior management of all levels
- Building strong Business Cases for financially sound decision making and Act as the link between the Operations, Claims and IT on a regional EMEA leadership level
- Build local process maps for the optimization of internal processes
- Responsibility and accountability for achieving the TOM design change goals for EMEA Claims
- Engagement with third parties and other Chubb functions to ensure synergies of scale and lean operations are guaranteed
- Delivery of feasibility studies where needed alongside the Ops senior management
Requirements
- Professional experience in project management
- Preferably with knowledge in the field of claims but not essential
- Experience of lean, 6-sigma is a clear advantage
- Fluent in English, other languages desired but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to deal with senior management on complex matters – where focusing on the main details for decision making is needed
- In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry & international insurance business
- Analytical thinking & excellent numerical understanding
- Accountability in own drive to implement ambitious goals in accordance with Ops manager
- Ability to independently develop strategies to achieve ambitious goals based on targets given
- Strong negotiation skills & communication skills in top management levels
- Experience in dealing with international matrix structures & corresponding decision-making processes is a must to be effective
- Willingness to travel (about 10% of the activity in the current scenario)
