Special Ed Teacher

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year at a high school in Glendale, AZ. This role is ideal for educators passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic secondary school environment. The position is a contract role for the full school year.

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and families to support student success.
• Utilize various teaching strategies and adaptive technologies to engage and accommodate students with disabilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instruction to meet evolving needs.
• Ensure compliance with special education laws and district policies.

• Valid teaching certification with a focus on special education.
• Experience working with high school students requiring individualized support.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and instructional best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth.
