Special Ed Teacher

A dedicated Special Education Teacher to serve K-12 students in a full-time contract position based in Marksville, LA.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet students' unique learning requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere conducive to student growth.

• Valid certification in Special Education.
• Experience teaching special education across the K-12 spectrum.
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of student behavior management and intervention techniques.
