About the role
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available with a K-12 school in Crystal Lake, IL. This contract position covers a leave assignment, supporting students from K-3rd grade and Junior High, with a start date of January 5, 2026, and an end date of March 16, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students
- Deliver therapy tailored to individual student needs, focusing on K-3rd and Junior High levels
- Collaborate with school staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation consistent with school policies
- Adhere to scheduled contracted hours; no additional district responsibilities such as bus duty or parent pickup
Requirements
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology required (SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage effectively with students and educational teams
