Senior Software Engineer

The OneDrive & SharePoint Experiences organization is building a new platform for enabling “ultimate” Progressive Web Applications that will make web applications faster, resilient to transient service issues, and enable a full offline experience with 2-way synchronization.

• Drive improvements to the team’s build performance and developer inner loop, reducing iteration time and increasing engineering velocity.
• Design and implement systems to automatically deploy AI-generated code changes, including updates to unit tests (UTs) and build verification tests (BVTs), ensuring rapid and safe validation of AI-assisted development.
• Lead the migration of engineering tools and workflows to a modern, AI-first ecosystem—leveraging automation, intelligent code generation, and scalable infrastructure to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate across disciplines to identify bottlenecks, define success metrics, and deliver measurable improvements in developer productivity.
• Champion engineering excellence by promoting best practices in AI-assisted development.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience in developing, debugging and maintaining code in object oriented languages and database querying languages with strong coding, debugging, algorithm design and problem-solving skills.
