About the role
The Family Recovery Court Specialist focuses on evaluating family situations, interviewing, assessing risk, and developing plans that focus on protecting children
Responsibilities
- Evaluating family situations, interviewing, assessing risk, and developing plans that focus on protecting children
- Working in a non-adversarial, therapeutic court setting, protecting children from indicated risk and harm
- Engaging in critical thinking and shared decision-making to ensure timely permanency outcomes for children
Requirements
- Five (5) years of paid social service experience
- 30 semester or 45 quarter credits in a Social Services discipline
- Master's degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, or Master's degree which includes 30 semester or 45 quarter credits in a Social Services discipline
- Bachelor's degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, or Bachelor's degree which includes 30 semester or 45 quarter credits in a Social Services discipline
- One (1) year of paid social service experience
