Hardware Systems Engineer

As a member of our team, you will be applying your hardware engineering expertise and working with cross-functional teams to architect next-generation audio products in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

• Apply your hardware engineering expertise and work with cross-functional teams to architect next-generation audio products
• Solve challenging engineering problems
• Select components and provide tradeoff studies
• Develop with internal/external silicon, design schematics, and work closely with layout engineers
• Define test criteria and perform validation and debug on prototypes
• Travel domestically and internationally
• Work closely with contract manufacturers to ensure product success
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Apple at different office locations

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years industry experience in hardware systems design
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
• Ability to identify design tradeoffs and optimize circuits to meet product requirements
• Utilizes schematic capture, simulation tools
• Provides guidance to PCB Engineer and reviews layout
• Uses electrical equipment to validate design and debug complex electrical failures
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced design environment and a proven ability to multi-task and self-prioritize workload
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
