Responsibilities As an Associate with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to serve as a key resource/subject matter expert (SME) in developing and delivering quality solutions to support business processes. Our goal is to improve our data offerings by ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data received. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on complex, high visibility projects Responsibilities: Work with the project team and key business partners to determine the requirements/objectives and priorities of the customer in relation to timeliness, quality, and accuracy of data collected. Translate business requirements into technical specifications; establish and define details, definitions, and requirements of applications, components and enhancements. Participate in project planning; identifying milestones, deliverables, resource requirements, and estimated completion dates; also tracking activities and task execution. Scrutinize data sets for trends, identifying opportunities for additional evaluation and focus. Document, develop, and deploy data quality assessment standard operating procedures and control processes. Write and execute intermediate to advanced monitoring queries and other data collection spreadsheets to ensure the timeliness, quality, and accuracy of data collected. Monitor data quality initiatives, ensuring that identified standards and requirements are met across the organization within outlined agreed upon service level agreements(SLAs).

Responsibilities

  • Scrutinize data sets for trends, identifying opportunities for additional evaluation and focus.
  • Document, develop, and deploy data quality assessment standard operating procedures and control processes.
  • Write and execute intermediate to advanced monitoring queries and other data collection spreadsheets to ensure the timeliness, quality, and accuracy of data collected.
  • Monitor data quality initiatives, ensuring that identified standards and requirements are met across the organization within outlined agreed upon service level agreements(SLAs).
  • Provide clear written, verbal, and face-to-face communication of issues observed to both internal and external business partners of project objectives, business requirements, and issues observed.
  • Compile analytical and statistical reports, presenting them to customers along with recommendations for future improvements when applicable.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, comfortable with frequently shifting priorities.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead peers through requirements, design and testing process as well as application maintenance and support.
  • Ability to work with data and reporting tools to research, organize, and summarize findings.
  • Ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources
  • High technical and functional aptitude for problem solving and process flow management with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable speaking with and translating between technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of healthcare datasets preferred.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) a plus.
  • BigQuery, SQL, Python or similar programming languages are a plus.
