Construction and Maintenance Project Lead (CMPL) - PORT ORCHARD

The Construction and Maintenance Project Lead directly contributes to the agency’s mission to improve public safety by positively changing lives by keeping critical infrastructure, equipment, and security systems in functional working order

• Develop, complete, and document assigned maintenance work orders relating to building, grounds and equipment maintenance and repairs
• Maintain and oversee maintenance and construction projects at the Reentry Center during warm closure
• Directly manages and supervises all phases of construction, maintenance, and repair of the building grounds, plumbing, electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment
• Oversees the mechanical systems, boilers, hot water tanks, plumbing, refrigeration, and the HVAC systems
• Develops and plans long-range preventative maintenance programs
• Prepares reports, and develops capital project requests
• Directly supports the purpose of the division to provide targeted opportunities for success by maintaining the Reentry Center for warm closure

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years as a Construction and Maintenance Project Specialist
• Three years as a general repairer
• Four years of journey-level experience in two or more construction or building trades
