Registered Nurse Medical Acute Contingent Days

Unit Specializes in: General Medical Unit, DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital, Michigan’s first Level I Trauma Center, helped pioneer the evolution of emergency medicine and currently has one of the busiest and most well-equipped emergency departments anywhere.

• Manage and provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge

• Graduation from a school of nursing required
• BSN preferred
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required
