Market EMR Coach

The hospital EMR Coach under direct supervision from the Market Clinical Informatics Director and according to established policies and procedures functions as an electronic medical record (EMR) system expert and is primarily responsible for training clinicians to efficiently use the Cerner EMR and to proactively provide at the elbow support to clinicians throughout the hospital.

• Training clinicians to efficiently use the Cerner EMR
• Providing direct support to providers and nurses
• Ensuring consistent and effective use of the EMR
• Creating education content to communicate EMR changes
• Providing suggestions and feedback to physicians and clinicians

• High School Diploma
• Ability to develop, maintain and collaborate with clinicians
• Ability to problem-solving and resolve conflict
• Understands clinical workflow and has the skill set to integrate technology into clinical practice
