DSHS Maple Lane - Psychology Associate

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating group sessions and delivering psychosocial interventions to assigned residents
  • Providing evidence-based group and individual therapies
  • Developing flexible group materials tailored to the acuity of the resident population
  • Engaging residents in social skills development and therapeutic activities
  • Conducting assessments such as the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution
  • Registration as a Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor or professional licensure in the State of Washington
