About the role

Nursing Assistant Certified, Day Shift, Full-Time - Permanent, Washington Soldiers Home

Responsibilities

  • Assist or supervise assigned residents with activities of daily living
  • Promote resident-centered care and ensure that Veterans are treated with dignity and respect
  • Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities
  • Accurately obtain and record vital signs and other resident data
  • Observe, document, and report changes in resident's condition or behavior to the licensed practical nurse

Requirements

  • Valid Washington state license to practice as a nursing assistant certified
  • Six (6) months of experience involving customer service in a healthcare setting or six (6) months of experience involving direct patient care
