The value you'll bring to the team: Assesses and analyzes information from accreditation and regulatory agencies to identify survey readiness and compliance risks. Performs ongoing risk assessment activities to identify issues. Develops and implements accreditation and regulatory work plans. Works with leadership to provide advice and resources to implement improvements. Coordinates with relevant departments to ensure compliance. Collaborates with facilities leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local accreditation and regulatory requirements. Documents standards and regulations that may affect organizational policies, practices, and procedures. Serves as the organization liaison for accreditation and regulatory matters relative to continuous state of readiness and compliance. Monitors changes in accreditation and regulatory requirements and updates policies accordingly. Provides training and education to staff on accreditation and regulatory standards. Conducts internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Prepares and submits required documentation to accreditation and regulatory agencies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed : Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience required. Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience within a hospital or healthcare setting and in leadership roles is strongly preferred. Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and levels of the organization. Demonstrated team-oriented mindset with a focus on partnership and shared success. Responsibilities
- Directs accreditation and regulatory programs, policies, practices and resources for the organization.
